Autumn Tabletop Treats

This time of year is enchanting. And as Thanksgiving draws near, there are few things we love more than a gorgeous kitchen spread with delicious and colorful November treats. Shall we get started?

3 Harvest-Sweet Treats to Whip Up in November

Spritz it up. First things first: you need refreshments. These Caramel Apple Cocktails are the perfect balance between sweet and tart – plus they’re gorgeous. And when you’re done sipping, you can eat the cup!

Get saucy. Listen, there’s cranberry sauce, and then there’s Red Wine Cranberry Sauce. If you’re loyal to the canned stuff… maybe it’s time for a little rebellion. This delicious recipe is so simple, you’ll wonder why you hadn’t thought of it years ago!

Glaze it over. These candied pecans are downright decadent. They’re as easy to make as they are to eat, and you’ll be tempted to gobble down the whole batch yourself! Plus, your entire house will smell like candy-coated heaven.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • 4 cups unsalted pecan halves

  • 1 egg white

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 300 degrees

  2. Add sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt to large bowl and toss until evenly combined

  3. In a separate bowl, combine pecans and egg white and toss until pecans are evenly coated

  4. Add egg-coated pecans to the large bowl of ingredients and toss until they’re evenly coated

  5. Spread pecans onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through, until pecans are fragrant and sugar coating is cooked

  6. Remove from oven and cool until nuts are room temperature
